PEPS programs are grounded in the Strengthening Families™ framework, a research-informed approach that identifies the core conditions families need to thrive.
Social connection. Emotional support. Parenting confidence. Access to information. Understanding child development.
These aren't just program goals. They're the foundation of what we design our programs around—and most powerfully, what comes to life in our facilitated groups, where parents feel supported, informed, and genuinely part of a community.
Our model is flexible and designed to be adapted by local partners to reflect the unique strengths and needs of their communities. Tested across diverse settings, it offers a structured yet responsive approach that can be implemented with training, tools, and ongoing support.
Parents join small, facilitated groups that meet for eight to twelve weeks. Each session offers guided discussion, relevant topics, and shared experiences—creating space to learn, ask questions, and build real connections with other parents.
Show up as you are. Engage in honest conversations, learn from others navigating the same journey, and build connections that can last well beyond the group. Every session is a space where your experiences and questions are welcome.
PEPS works because it centers peer connection, guided conversation, and consistency. Small groups foster trust over time, helping parents feel seen, supported, and more confident as they navigate each new stage of parenting.
PEPS and our partners adapt to reflect the unique cultures and needs of each community. Locally led groups honor diverse experiences, ensuring parents feel understood, respected, and supported in ways that are meaningful to them.

You can help us fulfill our mission of connecting parents to support in any of the below ways.
Find a PEPS Group and connect with other parents who understand what you're going through. Share experiences, learn with and from one another, and build the confidence and relationships that help you navigate the crucial stages of parenting.
Bring the PEPS model to your community or workplace. We work with community-based organizations, nonprofits, and businesses to expand access to the support, knowledge, and community parents need most.
There's a place for everyone at PEPS, whether you have a little time or a lot. Volunteer, advocate, or share your skills. Your contribution helps more parents access the support, knowledge, and community they need to feel confident and connected. Every person who gets involved makes PEPS stronger.
Participant fees help sustain our programs, but they don't cover the full cost. Your donation makes it possible to expand access, reach more families, and go deeper in the work, ensuring more parents have the connection, knowledge, and support they need to thrive.
